Under the Directorship of Mr. Bainito, Nguruman Orchards was established in 1990, a first generation family run business. The orchard is a no pollution zone, set down the dusty countryside road in this dreamy and exquisite landscape with bigger hills. Lush green fruit and indigenous trees adorn the compound, with Madafu hanging precariously over your head as you sit enjoying the cool breeze at this oasis in the middle of the savannah woodland.
The farm’s produce varies from tropical and exotic fruit varieties to citrus and vegetables. There are other seasonal produce and assorted organic vegetables too. From Pawpaw’s, mangoes, bananas, apple custard, lemons, the array of fruits is never ending. Managu, terere, mrenda, onions, tomatoes, fill the organic vegetable basket. Then there is kienyeji chicken and goats.
